Our transition from life in the UK to here on our organic farm in Spain has been interesting.

Our aim was to try and be as self sufficient as possible which is far away from our previous life of convenience back in the UK.

One of our 1st projects was our vegetable and salad garden.  We fully expected poor results in our early years, having previously grown nothing other then cress on our window sill.  However, we were actually very proud of our results!

In 2008, we had wonderful peas, broad beans, cauliflower, brocolli, onions, leeks, lettuce and strawberry's.

In 2009, we grew our spring and summer crop of deliciously sweet carrots, parsnips, tomato's, sweet corn, melons, peppers, cucumbers, courgettes, aubergines and runner beans.

Now, we have just planted this years winter veggies and the herb garden is coming along nicely.
