Accommodation FAQs

We have tried to cover as much information here that you may need when considering a stay at Huerta Salazar. Obviously if there is still a question we have not answered then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our very best to provide all the appropriate answers.

How many properties do you have?

We currently have three 3 properties which are available for holiday rents, two of which are on our organic fruit farm and the other which is a converted chapel, nestled on the side of Santi Petri, the highest mountain nearest to Almogia. For further information on all of them please click here.

How do I book?

Use the online booking facility in the ‘Our Properties’ pages and await a return email from us to confirm the booking and any further details. Alternatively you can send us an email to info@huertasalazar.com

Do I need to pay a deposit?

We ask for a 25% deposit on booking, to secure your property and also a €150 damages deposit which is payable on arrival and repayable on departure.

Is there any heating?

All properties have a wood burning stove and also additional radiators in case it is very cold.

Do you provide linen and towels?

Yes we do, but you need to bring your own beach/pool towels.

Is there a laundry and cleaning service?

Yes, for an additional cost, we can arrange to clean your property during your stay and also take care of your laundry.

What happens if we arrive late?

That is OK and we can even collect any shopping or groceries for you before you arrive.

Can I smoke?

Sorry, we do not allow smoking inside any of our properties.

Can I bring a pet?

We will consider pets but do contact us before making a booking.

Is there any internet access?

There is no internet at the properties, but there is at the main farm which can be used occasionally.

Is there a mobile phone reception?

Yes there is, although its stronger in certain places.

Do you have any animals on the farm?

We are predominantly an Organic fruit farm but we do have chickens, horses and ponies.

Can I borrow DVDs and CDs?

Yes, we have an extensive collection for you to choose from

What are your Agri-holidays?

This is where you stay and your time is divided so that you work on the fruit farm undertaking various seasonal tasks. You also have your own time too to relax and explore the local area. Rental rates are reduced significantly.
