We'll be back!

A very relaxing and peaceful stay in superb surroundings

The good life!

Dear Charles and Suzie,

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We love what you are doing here.

The décor of the cottage is beautiful and the bed is extremely comfortable. Being able to buy your farm’s produce is fantastic. It really is the good life here!

We don’t really have much to say in the way of suggestion for improvement. The main thing is we think you could make more of the swimming pool on your website – perhaps a photo. From the modest description, we didn’t expect to find a swimming pool but more of a deep dark water tank! Although you have to explain that it has no shallow end and its history does make an interesting story, we think it is a bigger selling point than is exploited on the site.

Another minor comment is that we think the cottage could do with a little more light – just an extra lamp or something.

Thank you once again for a brilliant stay. We will definitely recommend your holiday home and farm to our friends and family.

We hope one day to return – with our baby!

All the best

Everything and more!

We stayed at the Huerta Salazar for a week in February.  Its a delightful destination in the hills above Malaga. Everything claimed on the website is true, and more.  Suzie and Charles could not have been more welcoming yet are not intrusive. It was wet while we were there, and indeed chilly, but the wood burning stove in the house and unlimited supplies of fire wood make the cottage a treat.

The kids loved it - the animals on the farm, picking oranges and lemons from the trees, the freedom to wander. It was an adventure for them.  We enjoyed the wonderful spring colours, the almond trees, finding wild asparagus and the wonderful mountain roads. A car is essential and we toured all around Andalusia from the farm. Clara wants to go back for the harvest.....

Magical Hideaway!

The cottage and the stables are magical little hideaways in the middle of the Spanish mountains, only 45 minutes for the airport but a million miles away from the city of London! Charles and Susie bring you their home grown lemons for your G&T's, free range eggs every morning for breakfast and avocado from the garden for lunch and supper what more could anyone wish for?

Relaxing Holiday

Came out for a relaxing 10 day holiday & have not been disappointed. The cottage is immaculate & what an asset the pool is, just what you need to cool down in the heat. The most wonderful part of the stay was going and collecting fresh produce from the organic farm.  When we were there eggs, lemons, tomatoes, plums and avocados were all on the menu.  In the cottage was also a starter pack of bread and juice as well as a bottle of their homemade olive oil!  We were so impressed with the whole place, a lot of thought had clearly gone into ensuring we had a wonderful stay.  Thank you very much!

Such a welcome

We have just returned from our first holiday with our 6 month old son.  Travelling from East Midlands to Malaga/Almogia took us no more than 5 hours!  We arrived at the farm and were welcomed by the Randalls as if we were friends!  Charles showed us around the farm and told us what we could help ourselves too as well as were to find the eggs!  We wanted a quiet private location to enjoy the weather and local produce and that is exactly what we got.  The local town is a short drive where you can find most things and the bakery is open every day.  We loved it here and will definitely return.

Thanks for a great stay!

This is the ideal place to stay with another couple as the two cottages are private enough to not be on top of each other but close enough to enjoy being on holiday as a group.  There are BBQ facilities as well as great showers and well appointed kitchens.  We went with my sister and her boyfriend and had such a great time eating, drinking, swimming and generally just relaxing.  The farm is beautiful with all the olive groves and fruit trees.  If you need to switch off and recharge your batteries then this is the place to do it! Many thanks for a great stay!
